Aggregation Pheromones
Aggregation pheromones are chemical signals that individuals use to form colonies or group together, therefore they attract both males and females and are very common among weevil beetles. Monitoring and mass capture with aggregation pheromone are essential to detect the presence of the weevil, determine the stage of the pest, assess the level of risk, control the population and reduce damage.
