The Olive Moth (Prays oleae) is a lepidopteran that completes 3 annual generations, each one affecting a different organ of the plant.
It is one of the main pests of the olive tree and is widely spread throughout the the Mediterranean region.
Damages occur in leaves, flowers and fruits depending on the time of year in which the attack takes place. The most serious are those caused on fruits because they cause them to fall, as well as the loss of quality of the oil obtained.
